Spinal injection techniques include spinal anesthesia, spinal tap, epidural analgesia, caudal analgesia, sacral nerve block, and lumbar sympathetic block. The EIS (Epidural Injection Simulator) is designed for learning, practicing, and experiencing the most common aspects of the epidural procedure - principally, simulating the feel of a needle passing through different tissue layers when performing an epidural. The realistic appearance and lifelike patient anatomy offers anatomical features such as vertebrae and iliac crests to provide tactile feedback during the epidural procedure.
