When you do the compressions on the Prestan manikin a light will come up: for 60 compressions/minute the red light will come up, for 80 compressions/minute the yellow light will come up and for 100 compressions/minute the green light will come up. The manufacturer is in constant communication with the American Heart Association and as of right now they will not change the guidelines regarding the number of compressions/minute in 2010. But, we will know for sure at the end of 2010. I just want to assure you that if the guidelines will change then the manufacturer will come up with a solution to be able to use the manikins following the AHA standards.
